At night, the world is quiet like the bottom of the ocean. Continuing down the road by myself, guided by a distant voice.
"I'm here. It's me. Where are you?" I know that if I reach further, I'll find it. Just a little further, and I'll have finally gotten to see you; the one who is like me. I reach toward the sky as I walk further along the dirt path. "It's me. I'm here." it calls to me. Wait, come back! I'm here too! I'm right here! So please...don't recoil from my grasp. In the dark wind of a murky night, I continue forward. Please, let the voice that touches my ears be real this time. Let it be something that is just like me. Let the dancing specks of light lift me higher... Until I am beyond the sky of this world. I don't know what it is about this character (I've affectionately called her "Chitose") that makes me want to try new things, but...there you have it. Ever since Caz drew this for me: [link] I've been thinking about her a bit more. (It doesn't help that I am also elbow-deep in Circuity ideas. :3) Either way, once I was done wallowing in self-pity (I do that sometimes), I started working on this. I'd been working on it off and on for the passed week, and now I'm finally finished with it. This is the first time I've ever tried doing the whole "glowing effect" thing. o___o It was hard!!! It still didn't come out quite as I would have liked it to, but I guess it's okay for a first try. Enjoy! Chitose © myself.
